You are discussing engines with significantly different power outputs. Of course you would see more consumption from the 1.6. It is never in a state of “light load” pulling 1500 kg.

I have seen many, many turbo engines hit 300k miles with the original turbo, in good condition too, to boot. They don’t have to be all that much more expensive.

It’s basically the most Jalop car ever by your own admission. It’s weird, it’s rare, it’s somewhat stupid, and has no mass market appeal.

Funny you mention that considering they are Bentley headlamps. As for me, I think it’s very striking with just the perfect amount of strangeness about its proportions. The hideous color has to go. Someone render this in baby blue or enamel forest green, please.

My 2011 TSX Wagon is now worthless thanks to them. Bumper cover and tailgate plastic panel had minor scratches. Got them replaced. I'm now scared to know how much less it's worth. Time to open a diminished value claim on it I guess. What a drag.
