Came here for a take like this and was not disappointed. I have never understood why the Deadspin staff (along with a number of the commenters here, I might add) seem to be so enamored with a guy who has behaved like a complete prick for his entire career.

I’m not friends with either of them, and this is why.

I know there will be a lot of people who makes jokes in these comments, but I think we should step back a moment and reflect on the sad, nay the TRAGIC dissolution of a romantic relationship.
