You know that primaries are different from general elections, right? Bernie had an obligation to campaign the fuck out of last fall (which IMO he didn’t do well enough). He is now back in the senate and doing his job. Hillary has an obligation to get out of town for a while. She is not an elected official and for her

Bernie is a very poor debater and has not made the case “better than anyone” at all.

Name the Blue Dogs. How many of them are left? They were all primaried by purity-obsessed Dems 2010-2014. Instead we have Republicans. I would, 100%, ALWAYS, rather have a Blue Dog than a Republican.

No he hasn’t. He voted for the Crime Bill (remember, the one that Hillary got shat on for just supporting, not voting for). He voted against Amber alerts. He voted for every authorization of force except for the Iraq War. He protest voted against Democratic policies meant to help marginalized communities because they

Jacobin is trash, but I will admit that that article is good.

Exactly. People keep bringing up the WW statistic and ignoring the fact that MORE white men voted for him. Significantly more. And the WW voting for him were still voting for a racist and sexist candidate. Not sure how WW voting for him makes the vote not about racism, sexism, and toxic masculinity.

If Hillary doesn’t take action now people say “where the fuck is she.” If she DOES, people say “what a sore loser, campaign’s over, get over it!” Give the woman a goddamn break MM.

Hillary Clinton could not go to the Women’s March. If she had, it would’ve turned the march into a Hillary march, when it wasn’t. Additionally, Linda Sarsour specifically said that the Women’s March organizers would not add Hillary’s name to the list of honorees because she hates Hillary Clinton.

No, he did not positively campaign for her. He campaigned and said “don’t let Donald Trump become president.” He never said “Hillary will do good things and here is why you should vote for her.”

Hillary Clinton was insanely popular before she started running for President. She had a good approval rating (better than Obama’s) at State and was the world’s most admired woman for years. You know why her approval ratings tanked during the campaign?

Yes, I completely forgot that Bernie won the primaries in the critical swing states of PA, OH, NC, and FL! Thank you so much for reminding me!

Cruz will now only have one opponent to focus on, and Bernie is a really bad debater.

You’ll get shit for this but I 100% agree. He does not articulate his platform well (he can hardly talk about anything other than his stump speech) and he stayed in the race far too long and drove down enthusiasm for Clinton. He is not and has never been a Democrat and I am honestly kind of mad at the DNC for letting

Bernie is one of the people who I would least want representing the Democratic/liberal/progressive view on healthcare and Obamacare. He is a poor debater and has a hard time articulating his arguments other than “us vs. millionaires/billionaires” and “the UK has socialized healthcare so why can’t we???”

Yes, he did better than a white man who was running against a black candidate. That isn’t terribly surprising.

He is a step back when you think about the future. He extends the presence of Scalia’s originalist philosophy 40+ years. SCOTUS rulings in 2037 look at lot different with Justice Garland than with Justice Gorsuch.

Gorsuch doesn’t swing the court, but his selection means that Scalia’s originalist philosophy gets to occupy that seat for possibly 40+ more years. That is two entire generations longer than it should’ve been, since Obama’s pick was stolen from him by the GOP.

It’s because female candidate’s popularity plummets when they run for higher office. When they are no longer running for office, it recovers. Ever wonder why she had a 60+% approval rating as Sec of State, but also happened to be one of the most hated presidential candidates of all time?
