Paxton’s behavior is much easier to understand when you realize he’s campaigning for a spot as AG or possibly the Supreme Court if Trump wins in 2024. He’s perfectly happy to throw people like Cox under the bus to get there. 

The “No Cease Fire” chants will haunt me to my grave. I have been called a terrorist sympathizer, an antisemite, and a Hamas stodge for criticizing the occupation, for pointing out the undeniable injustice Palestinians have faced for decades, or even just saying “hey can the IDF please stop killing civilians?”

Let doctors do the doctoring. Ken Paxton is a should be convicted felon. Why does he get to decide if someone is having issues with their body? Why is the government deciding at all? You would think a person that wants more children is one of the ‘good ones” in their eyes.

Well that was a scary few days...

My sincere hope is the site is not just back but returns to some of the former quality and insight that made it a an outsized-pop culture staple. Frankly the site had been in decline for years before its shuttering. I don’t mean to shit on you or any other writers who, I gather, have been working under less-than-ideal…

And so is the comment section! Hurray!

That blows chunks. I’ve been here since Erin Gloria Ryan was still working finance (in Chicago?) and she was commenting on the sly as “Morning Gloria”.

I had the same reaction. Got ungreyed after years and years. Site shuts down. That tracks.

This site has been part of my daily online routine since I found it through GoFugYourself many years ago. How crappy!

That sucks. I’ve been commenting here for over a decade. It seems to be a sign of the times with various blogs though.
