I’ve done both, and basically wanted to cry/stop/die in all my races EXCEPT my first half marathon and my first marathon. They’ve all gone downhill from my firsts. Not sure why...heightened expectations?

I learned that when I got some rash on my face and it turned out to be from mango skin. I was peeling the mango, must have gotten some on my hand and touched my face without washing my hands. It. Was. Excrutiating!

It’s hard to tell parents things, sometimes! I’m pretty open about therapy and being on anti depressants, however I can’t tell my parents. I’ve heard my dad kind of speak judgementally about meds (and he’s normally a super-accepting guy) so I’ve never wanted to tell him. I feel like I’d be a disappointment--although…

I didn’t find it shrill, I thought she sounded great. I don’t really listen to a lot of pop music, though, so I don’t know who I am comparing her to.

I know a woman in real life who had 4 sons with her first husband, and these kids are having kids of their own. She just had her third child with her second husband. She’s 47 or 48. I don’t get it.
