I’ve done both, and basically wanted to cry/stop/die in all my races EXCEPT my first half marathon and my first marathon. They’ve all gone downhill from my firsts. Not sure why...heightened expectations?

I learned that when I got some rash on my face and it turned out to be from mango skin. I was peeling the mango, must have gotten some on my hand and touched my face without washing my hands. It. Was. Excrutiating!

They closed down parts of 78 Westbound in NJ today (Friday) during rush hour so darling Donald could leave NYC. I saw at least 50 State Trooper vehicles closing down vast areas of the highway so he could go wherever he was going in a black SUV. Thank goodness I was going East, but there was still backup going my way…

It’s hard to tell parents things, sometimes! I’m pretty open about therapy and being on anti depressants, however I can’t tell my parents. I’ve heard my dad kind of speak judgementally about meds (and he’s normally a super-accepting guy) so I’ve never wanted to tell him. I feel like I’d be a disappointment--although…
