GMG was renamed G/O Media when it was acquired by some shady financial firm, and as of a week or so ago they sold AV Club to Paste Magazine.

I don’t quite agree with Jon Stewart’s take on this one. Will AI replace jobs some day? Maybe, who knows. But in the short term all the money invested in dubious AI startups could be going to something that’s, you know, actually useful.

Not to be confused with Barbara Bush, who was already very much dead. Hope that helps.
