Given the length of the Hollywood strikes, I wonder if we’ll have more concert movies in the near future...

And while this definitely is not a new Aladdin movie...

Thank you!

Was Bob Hoskins unavailable?

I spent way too much time playing Unity (well, after all the patches) and after a while I noticed I had this urge to climb up the wall of this one French-style building in my neighborhood.

Wow, way to bury the lead: it turns out Best Buy is somehow still around.

There’s a video of this floating around, and... yeah don’t watch it. I wish him well in his lawsuit against this awful show.

Simpsons did it!

The problem is that every episode acknowledges this, as at least one of them suffers some kind of consequences. So to bring up their past misdeeds and punishing them again just feels unnecessary.

Sure, they paid $400 million for the rights to The Exorcist, but that’s nothing compared to the amount they paid me for a bridge!

Comedy is one of those genres where a super low budget indie movie can easily compete with a big budget one. You don’t need big sets and fancy visual effects to tell a knock knock joke.

It’s not as well known in the US but a couple years later there was a similar series of deaths in Japan with poisoned soda bottles. Just like the Tylenol poisonings, nobody was ever successfully prosecuted.

Looking forward to Oppenheimer: The Director’s Cut by film director Spike Lee.

So the going exchange rate is three AV Club articles for one Variety article?

Oh don’t worry, he’ll be 40 soon and he’ll be having back problems that make him forget about his stomach problems.

Um, no. Laughtracks interrupt the flow of jokes that work, and are awkward as hell for shows that aren’t funny at all (Alf, for example.) People have hated laugh tracks longer than I’ve been alive, and I’m in my 40's.
