The main thing the Brosnan Bond movies get wrong is they give him such a crazy number of kills he’s not at all believable as a spy. The Craig Bond movies mostly fix this, even going so far as to have M chastise Bond for blowing up that embassy at the beginning of Casino Royale.

Not to mention the two years after the movie was set to be released. I’d say that’s plenty of time to die.

The idea that Bond was a codename was always a flimsy fan theory at best because there’s no direct evidence for it in any of the movies or the novels. A character being the same guy played by different actors over time is par for the course with long running franchises.

Seinfeld contains surprisingly few visual jokes... it’s one of those shows you can “watch” while barely paying attention to the screen.

Something tells me he’ll either die or his “retirement” will be something more like KISS’ 20+ year farewell tour.

The original lyrics mention driving in a car with a 5 liter engine, so it seems surprising that Mr. Ice has changed his opinions so drastically on efficiency over the years.

As much as I loved Casino Royale, that movie was way too long for an action/thriller — and this one’s 20 minutes longer. That worries me.

The government loves going after easy targets. It’s so much easier to overthrow a small foreign government and blame society’s problems on some out of shape people wearing clown makeup than to address real systemic issues like poverty and crime.

You’d think they would go with Bob Hoskins and Dennis Hopper again, those two don’t seem to be up to much these days.

I can only hope Gregg manages to turn things around this season and keep Tim focused on the movies.

Unclear, but at least the dog was the one on the moving subway train rather than the one being dragged behind it.

This had a much better outcome than the recent dog leash situation with a subway in San Francisco. I’ll spare the details, but suffice to say the moral of the story is you shouldn’t tie a dog leash around your body.

Can’t believe the pool guy/Cable Guy didn’t make the cut.
