Totally agree, commenters here on Jalopnik are a weird ass bunch (in a crappy way) - Always complaining only new cars are hybrid crossovers and suvs, that nothing with 4 doors or a tall ride height is a Coupe, and that the Manual transmission is dying along with N/A engines.

They say, why cant they take X old car and

meh, lighten up my man, stop caring what other people like and just enjoy what you like.

I used to be like that, but nowadays I like me a little bit of everything, cars are like food or like music, too many stuff to try and like/dont like, dont care what others might think about it.

P.D: Cant say they drive well, never

I know not everyone is a mechanic, but my mechanic and I have a youtube channel, where he bought a GTR with a blown engine that was left to rot for more than 6 years. Bought it for 18k (no rust, no dents or crashes, only 14k miles on the chassis), spent around 6k and got it to work in tip top condition, all in all he

People in the US like to think they have the end all be all knowledge on french cars, just because they received the cheapest renaults back in late 70s, which were built in the us.

You guys cant imagine how popular renault and peugeot are in Latin America and Europe for their stylish, reliable, good handling cars.

Some

Oh I get it, yeap, lots of cheapish plastic, but gotta be honest, those early 00s mitsus were simple and pretty much indestructible, and I do find appreciation in honest, simple cars that work day in and out.

So you hate a car that its great and loved just because its too popular?

I take you must hate the Veyron too? and the VW Beetle..

You say, how about building good cars, yet you have not stepped in one since 20 years ago? or are you saying that only mitsus from 20-25 years ago felt like good cars?

Sorry, couldnt figure out exactly what your telling, but I gotta say, Ive stepped in newer mitsus, the pickup trucks do feel okay and are really rugged,

Hopefully it will happen, at the moment its the perfect car for me (id buy one if I could) I have my two door sports hatch experience and all my peers, friends and family wont complain of only having two doors, add that the thing sounds great, its fun, moddable, handles and its affordable.

This is like a good take on a

I know what you mean, but the unreliable part is also due to the type of engine, like the oil consumption.

Look, im not trying to defend it and by no means its a Toyota/Honda 4cyl or a Ford/Chevy small block, but Ive seen plenty of them modded, raced and well taken care of that have had no issues.

Imo its a good engine,

This looks really nice imo. Hyundai has been doing great designs as of lately, the Veloster N, the i30 GT, the new elantra, the Kona, the Sonata, the palisade and now this..

Hopefully wont see the classic comments of this site saying how they copied the wheel arches from one brand, the door handles from X brand, the

Fa20s are not bad, its just that they are smaller and the stock rods suck.

Want to get it over 300hp? get forged internals and have fun at it.

The EJ257 is no piece of shit, tbh, its just a really old engine.

Had to be said.

Putting down an awesome car because..it took too long to develop?

I think the nsx offers a great look, technology, sounds great and seems to be reliable, whats not to like?

Yes but no, see, the VQ are great tuning engines EXCEPT they are huge and heavy.

Second, I think the handling of new Altima proves Nissan knows a thing or two about handling (hint: it had more mechanical grip than the G20 M340i in the skidpad)

Yes you can say the 370Z is old and outdated, but then you have these same

She’s an asshole.

She thinks because she is a POC, muslim and a woman she can’t be criticized.

Also, am a venezuelan that lost everything, lost relatives and friends to crime and poor general situation and had to migrate and leave everything behind, and she is a supporter of Maduro’s regime.

Asshole.

Not gonna lie, the fascia is Bug-like, but it felt way better in person.

I dont know, saw it on the road and felt new, looks way better in person.

I like it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can’t believe we’re in 2019 and there’s still people claiming Hyundai/Kia is ripping off car designs.. SMH.

bruh u from venezuela, argentina, colombia or brasil?

That same engine was slow in the ecosport, okay in the fiesta and a deathtrap in the Ka lol

Here in Panama I was on the edge of buying a Bob Sharp 240z, it was a rolling shell that was stored somewhere.

Some rich guy bought it in the 80s, brought it here, raced it and got bored of it, then sold it to a mechanic that stored it who became old and sold it for dirt cheap to a friend of his, who intended to race
