Exactly. This becomes a bigger deal with 60mm mortars since you can engage targets in hand-held mode using "iron sights" ... but you hit the nail on the head. Increasing accuracy and decreasing the amount of time it takes to effectively engage targets is what it's all about.

As an Artilleryman who's worked around 60s, 81s, and 120mm mortar systems, this is a really a big deal. Especially for the 60mm mortars.
