If you're talking about the scene of the soldiers on horseback riding into battle, I agree. But the movie, overall, is a bit not good.

"Tonight on Wings … ah who cares." No one, apparently not even the cast of Wings. That cast really phoned it in half the time. I remember reading some article about the show talking about how half the time they wouldn't even bother with rehearsals or run throughs before shooting. And it showed.

I actually think Pence might be much, much worse.

"What's a raccoon?"

What's a raccoon?

Also Tom Petty.

I don't know what it is, but in the last year or so, anytime I spin the dial (or more accurately, repeatedly push the "tune" button) on my car radio, there is *always* a Doobie Brothers song playing on some station. Usually "Listen to the Music" but China Grove and others sometimes make an appearance.

A "recently-hatched egg"? Aren't those called chicks?

Six Feet Under

(I had to move this after it posted in the wrong spot)

Yeah, I think Clark's motivations are purposely ambiguous. In Chapter 1, he was the guy pleading for more time with David vs the twitchy old guy who just wanted to gas him. But he also doesn't seem to give a care about other people, so…

I think the appearance of "rational English David" while he was locked away alone in his mind hints that all is not neurotypical in David's head.

He also gets a makeover…a shave, a new outfit, as though his mental self suddenly has hope so he reconnects with the world, albeit, the astral-planey world his mind is stuck in. He still not fully functional, but he gets enough of a recharge to be able to slam into Lenny at a key moment. Maybe using his telekenesis

This was mentioned/alluded to in "Dr" Busker's therapy session with David, the one where Lenny went on and on about the ants. (Those freaking ants - *that's* the image that's haunted me in a creepy way…the only good part was that bit led to Lenny pulling up David's hair to echo the ant head thingy, in the process

He *was* crumpled and stabbed in the real world. But Melanie whispered
the plan to him, which allowed Astral-Clockworks Rudy to have some
agency in that world, and to distract Lenny at a critical moment.

"When Meryl Streep asked people to donate to the Committee To Protect
Journalists at the Golden Globes earlier this year, for instance…"

"My heart grew three sizes this night. Metaphorically of course, I
don't want an enlarged heart, that would just be inconvenient and
life-threatening."

The Mary DVD/voiceover and the Molly scene are the two parts that are bugging me the day after. I've seen some great comments elsewhere that it should have been Mrs Hudson doing the voice over, since Sherlock and John are *her* Baker Street Boys and have been since the first episode. Or it should have been John

Sherlock yelled for an ambulance right away, and Mycroft (I think) left to summon one.
I think they went for "keep Mary somewhat upright and speaking to frame her final moments in the camera shot with John" over "position her based on 'appropriate medical treatment of a gunshot wound' way".

"Of course, his increasingly creepy views on women started there too."
Back to S60, the whole Danny harasses Jordan story line was cringeworthy, especially as it was presented as some incredibly romantic "nice guy trying to get the girl' thing: "If you wanna run I understand. But you better get a good head start,
