Cumberbatch can absolutely do comedy, and do it ridiculously well.
But many of the sketches were just SNL at its worst.
It seems like they were too busy riffing on some stereotype of Cumberbatch/putting supposedly uptight Brit in awkward/lewd situations and forgot to write something
