@eatsshootsleaves: My writing was heavily critiqued when I was 14, and I wasn't publishing it for thousands of people to read.

@KalamataInterrobang: Not everyone grows up with a TV, but as she's a well-known blogger, I'm pretty sure she's growing up with Google.
I was crushed when Domino shuttered, so Lonny is a wonderful return to that aesthetic. But I do love print. I'd love for more online magazine like Lonny to pop up, because I really do enjoy reading it and it's also a great interactive shopping/reading tool as well. But don't take away my print magazines. I'll have…
@the zeeba is your mamacita: I think I am, but I feel like they might as well have no picture instead of a cat.
@Marla Singer: First I read that link as "the incest store" and I thought that was the WTF. But then I read it correctly and...is that incense supposed to smell like a cat?
@Dorilys: Ah, sounds like you're a victim of Bad Karma June as well. My family is in the market for a new car (old one was totaled when someone ran into it) and a new refrigerator (old one just stopped working this week) thanks to this glorious month. I hope you're doing okay. Enjoy your wine.
Duh, everyone knows that no one ever thinks about cheating on a beautiful woman. Just ask Sandra Bullock, Halle Berry and Jennifer Aniston. Oh, wait...
Damn it, now I have to recast his part in my fantasy ZZ Top biopic.
I feel like Landon is kind of like Cha Cha in Grease. One of the best private schools in DC - with the worst reputation.
I hate packing. I've been in the process of packing up my dorm room for about a week and I just helped the boy pack today. Of course his room was full of dust so now I'm feeling sick. And I have to finish a paper in the remaining time I have at school (one day) but I just don't have any motivation because of the…
Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi and naDonna, seven jeans, true religion (she says no, but they keep giving)
@Rilo-Andy: The info isn't there anymore, so the link doesn't show a pic.
@badluckgirl: There's even more WTF moments in the second season. Just embrace the crazy.
Stevie Wonder Pandora station is the very best. I haven't made good progress on my paper, but once I started listening to this station, it lulled me into a dancing sort of productive paper writing. Highly recommended.
@Oleander: I really like "Jesus Walks." I'm not religious at all, but I think it's a really interesting song and very thought-provoking. I was pretty into it a few years ago, when it first came out.
I sweat a lot or my face gets really oily and nasty when it's hot out. My best advice for when it gets hot out is using a primer. On one 85 degree day, I decided to wear eye-makeup which I normally don't do on hot days. But I used Urban Decay primer before putting on my eyeshadow. My eye makeup remained smooth during…
@Manly McBeeferton: Oh definitely. I just didn't want you to feel like an 8-year-old was beating you in the spelling department.
Those spelling bee kids impress and scare me all at the same time. Congratulations Anamika!
@Manly McBeeferton: Eighth-grader. Not 8-year-old. She's at least 13.
@badluckgirl: I'm on the quarter system, so I'm still in the regular school year. Technically the school year doesn't end 'til next Friday, but I'll be home on Tuesday!
