It's the weekend! Oh wait, I'll be working on a 10-page paper all weekend. But still. Weekend! What's everyone up to?

My elementary school had half days on Mondays, which was really the best of both worlds. We went to school and those of us whose parents were home could go home and the after-school child care available at the school was still available to parents who worked. I miss the days of half-day mondays.

Veronica Mars ruined Steve Guttenberg for me. Anytime I see him now, I think "Nooo, he's a child molester!" Even though, as far as I know, he is not.

I love how the ball only moves when one of them literally walks into it. They don't even realize its there. I could watch this all day long.

I too, first encountered Bourgeois' work when I was a freshman in college (last year). I was assigned to write a paper about a piece of artwork in Chicago, and after looking through the entire MCA, I settled upon "The She-Fox," above. I agree with Katy's analysis of why she wasn't perhaps as popular as Koons or Hirst…

As someone whose third word was "fries," I think I'm going to pass on this one. Instead, if and when I have children, I'll try to feed them healthy yet delicious meals, I'll let them partake in "unhealthy" foods in moderation, I'll encourage them to be active, and above all I will let them know that they are wonderful…

I always try to credit the original source - that's who it belongs to. If it doesn't belong to the other blogger, then there's no reason to cite her.

Wooo! Weekend! I'm super excited because I'm done with classes for spring quarter which means only a week and change and two papers before I go home! And tomorrow we have our annual outdoor concert day with Regina Spektor, Guster and Nelly. And the weather's gorgeous! I'm in a really good mood. Who else is with me?
