Actually they do have that. On my Apple TV it’s called “dynamic range compression”, because apparently decent sound mixing is a lost art in Hollywood. Heck even with that on I pretty much just leave close captions on permanently on everything I watch.

Given what I’ve read about the comic this is based on, this adaptation seems to vastly improve upon the source material.

I’m trying to think of other instances of an actor playing the same real life person in unrelated movie/tv the only one that comes to mind is the guy playing Hitler in Preacher, who also played him in the John Cusack Hitler have some lemonade movie.
