Hollywood is not aligned with any ideology other than the one that maximizes profitability.

Make it a sitcom, with Matt Smith as the wacky neighbor and Paul McGann as the work-from-home boss who keeps his camera off during the Zoom calls.

This show is a love letter to 80s cinema. Having high schoolers played by 30-somethings is how that era worked. Just tell us what grade they’re in, and we’ll suspend disbelief.

Hold on - there are Lupin the Third references in the first movie? You might have said the only thing that could make me interested in seeing it.

It was called Broadchurch ... not so much a happy show, if I recall.

I recently listened Hutsell tell the story on the Carvey/Spade podcast, and they happened to be sitting next to each other waiting to audition for the same part - probably a LOT of nervous energy in that waiting room.

I feel like the real issue with the sketch is that we shouldn’t be mocking the appearances of teenagers, particularly when that mockery is going to be seen by other teenagers who might have similar physical features.

Why are there no articles about people who wear prosthetic foreheads on their real heads?

Arguably, they have already threaded the needle on “variants don’t have to be a 1:1" because we have Lokis by all different actors at this point so I think they are building themselves a Jonathan Majors out.

Why does he talk like he is either brain-damaged, or has learned English solely from reading, and has never heard it spoken before we meet him? Without an explanation as to why he is like that, it is just annoying.

So, the teacher’s a math teacher but they teach the fourth grade. Does elementary have different teachers for different subjects now? I just had the one underpaid teacher. Also, what’s with the parent referring to the teacher as “the professor?” This whole thing’s weird.

I really liked the trippy atmospheric bits, especially that penultimate episode where they’re traveling across the Shattered Sea.

Yeah. Willow was fun to watch, which is something a lot of shows can’t say, and I wish they’d made more. Unfortunately it was a victim of the screeching “Go woke go broke” twits who attacked every positive review and comment because it committed the crime of having multiple female leads. Pity. I rewatched it in a

Like I’m not saying that if I had two hundred million dollars or whatever that’s the show I would make, but it was kinda fun. I thought Ruby Cruz was quite good.

The American Girl sketch had me rolling.

The Princes of Comedy was pretty damn funny.

Sometimes we get REALLY wild and squeeze some lemon on it!
