They’ve pivoted to calling it the “Wizarding World” and less “Harry Potter” ever since the Fantastic Beasts films.

Well, since the game takes place in the 1800's it would be hard to justify putting Harry’s name on it as he won’t be born for at least 100 years.

I think Harry Potter was left out because Harry Potter won’t be in this game. They’ve pivoted away from the Harry Potter name so they can continue to milk that cash cow without the character being a central part of it.
