Looks promising. I dig the design of the, uhm, “angels” or whatever they are supposed to be. Remind me of La Linea.

Hydra...? Or Taskmaster has gone rogue and took control of the Red Room. Russia’s equivalent of Thunderbolt Ross would make sense too. A reaction to Americas steady growing army of superhumans is overdue.
Hm, I must say that most of these fail to deliver the very interesting promise from the beginning - imbuing these classic tales of horrors with modern fears.
Now that is the kind of modern fears I wanted to hear about.
Sounds a bit like Bram Stokers The Jewel of Seven Stars.
Yeah, Corrupt Corporate Executives are neither rare in fiction nor are they particularly scary. The setting may be modern, but not the fear. But what kind of fear could he embody? The fear of foreign investors and their influence?
The only thing that intrigued me here was the girls retro-futuristic bike in the last scene. Hello, why can’t we have a movie about that instead?!
Moms will laugh because of the reference, kids because goofy monsters fall on their butts. You need to entertain both parts of the audience.
I vote for Jonathan Groff. Moon Knight needs a musical number!
Hell yeah, Barb as Alien 3 Ripley. I want it.
I like the suit, but the cowl with the seams looks a bit odd and out of place. Like it belongs to a different costume.
I like it when they bring characters back. That way I can have both: the shock of losing them and the joy of seeing them return.
Yeah, when they called it surprising I thought for a second “OMG maybe it’s Barb?!” but then eh I was “eh, yeah, that’s the opposite of a surprising return.”
Yup. There is so much that simply works. The connection between the symbol and the rest of the blueish black. Cutting out the red parts. And I love the visible web shooters. Such a great decision to put one of the most iconic gadgets in superhero comics on the display instead of hiding them.
Hm. That was pretty underwhelming, I must say. Reminds me too much of Valhalla Rising and not enough of a Guillermo del Toro movie.
Ben’s costume was so great that they reused it for Spider-Girl. Heck, that was the one in Marvel versus DC. It is one of the very best variations and my personal favorite too. Sigh, I still miss Ben.
I mean he had a pretty clear mission at the end of the first one. There was not much room for him to pop up anywhere else, no?
I’ll go for something a bit more far-fetched...
Even if Tatooine was only in ANH and would have never showed up again it would be the most fleshed out location of the whole Saga. I would be more concerned if they would try to make a series about Yoda’s time on Dagobah.
You list all the “fan-service-y” stuff he can do on Tatooine like it’s nothing. That’s more than the rest of the OT planets had to offer combined. If any planet can serve as as setting for a whole series, than it’s Tatooine. Fleshing out the Tusken Raiders is a huge chance. He could get in contact with the B’omarr…
