I’m a woman aged 36....I had two beers on Sunday, did not get a buzz. The next day I was nauseous all day, went into a two day panic and took a pregnancy test this morning. Its just now occurring to me that I might have had a hangover off of those two beers.

I do volunteer, it’s the most social interaction I have during the week, but it’s at a feline rescue that has an unfortunately-low volunteer count so I just interact with mostly cats and visitors.

Calista Flockhart was the best part of the show. She’s really missed.

That’s very interesting and enjoyable read.

Sure thing, bud. 42 points in a single quarter would bring tears to my eyes too.

I salute you.

Don’t know what to say. I upgraded to Windows 10 and am quite happy with it.

Keep in mind windows 10 is not finished. This is the anniversary update which merges all the kernels. It is modular and device agnostic. It’s what will allow windows 10 to run on any hardware. Anniversary update is good no doubt, it has some features that are nice. But Redstone 2 will be windows 10 with all the

I miss my HTPC. I wish M$ would have kept up Media Center or at least made it open source.

I use Windows Media Center+ HDHomeRun tuners in Windows 7 and I refuse to upgrade that machine until I find a better DVR + Guide solution for Windows 10. Silicon Dust has a DVR solution in the works and now the HDHomeRun tuner can broadcast channels directly to some 2016 Samsung TVs as a source.

Direct X 12 which will only be available with Win10?

Same. I have an older laptop and I only really use it to stream and browse and it’s running Windows 7 with no real issues.

Being careful about websites you go onto is important, but it won’t keep you safe in the long run. There are plenty of security loopholes that need patching on well respected websites and software. What makes technology unsafe, more than anything is the the lack of security updates, the older a technology gets the

How about They will stop supporting Windows 7. Windows 10 support will continue for the foreseeable future, as they intend to do what Mac has done with OS X.

True - I didn’t upgrade because my ancient NVidia graphics card apparently has no driver - or recognized compatible driver even though it is - for Windows 10 so I said “Ferget it!” - anyway, Windows 8.1 Pro is doing everything I want and has been for years.

The reasons listed in this article are kind of lame. The real reasons you should upgrade are 1) it’s still free to upgrade today 2) win 10 runs better than win 7 and new software/hardware will be geared towards more win 10 users and 3) if you don’t you will be SOL when they end win 7 support down the road and you end
