They tried but it could have been better. Every player-created character is they/them regardless of choosing witch/wizard. It’s not that hard to replace pronouns with a separate player-chosen gender. Using they/them for all characters is lazy and takes me out of it a bit.

From what i understand you can create a trans player character, all options are available for both female and male presets. Also there is a trans character in the game for what its worth.
