I don’t enjoy the franchise, I enjoy those two games. And someone else could remake those games, which I would enjoy much more than a remaster. Konami’s doing nothing for me except reminding me that they are hoarding this IP. And that it’s only one, of many. So fuck ‘em.

I’m happy to play the long game. If they want to lock up the IP and never make money off of it, more power to them. But usually companies look to sell assets after a few decades of inactivity. When someone else picks up Suikoden, I’ll be happy to pay them for it. If they never do, c’est la vie!

Don’t remember what we put in it, but it sure got you AMPED!

Well, I’m sure you wouldn’t be too surprised after you knew that a recessed male would have meant a trip to the hardware store (also the story behind the altered extension cord). What got us up and running was just a band aid, of course! “Gotta get this thing going today, but as soon as it makes a little money, we

I’m a huge fan of these two games, specifically (the rest of the series is meh, for me), but Konami is all the way outside of their mind if they think they’re getting one red cent from me, after the bullshit they’ve continued to pull.

Yes, that is exactly the extra bullshit that I’m trying to rid myself of! Good job on that example!

And please, for the billionth time hoping, add in at least one (but two - one on each side, would be nice) touch-sensitive strip. Put it on the volume rocker, if you want. Just let me scroll something on my phone by running my finger along the SIDE of it, instead of dragging my fat, oily finger over the beautiful

Right? I remember building a concession stand trailer with my dad which could be powered by a 110 outlet (accessible in the RV park-ish area, we set it up at), simply by plugging it in to the normal-looking outlet that we wired to the outside of the unit.

To be honest, I love this idea; I just wish they were doing it with a bunch of other topics, instead of crypto (leave crypto in if you want it, sure, who cares?).

lol

If they’re naive/small-scale, the game ties some kind of interactivity to the NFT or other crypto asset, and the game updates the chain when that interactivity happens. A decentralized ledger can mark “history” for the game; often used for awards and environment changes.

Now playing

I’ve never wanted to wade into this discussion because of how much I hate NFTs and crypto, and because there is ZERO nuance in this discussion online. But finally someone made a “pretty concise” (almost an hour) presentation as to why this stuff COULD be good and why it IS NOT going away:

and yes, pirating their games is still supporting them, at worst you’re still providing them with free marketing and increasing their visibility.

I’m glad it works for you but, as someone who uses CSP and GIMP, daily, they’re not the same. They provide different functions. And GIMP is, unfortunately, not even close. It’s like comparing a sedan and a formula one racer. The sedan may actually be better at a ton of stuff, including using it in your daily life. But

And you were entirely wrong in that supposition.

Great! Once again, much appreciated!

Yes, perfect! Another great example! You’re doing lovely, sweetie!

Neat! Thanks!

I have no idea[...]

I did make fun of you. I just wasn’t talking TO you. Glad to help you with your confusion; I understand that these long threads may be a problem for you?
