It’s possible, it’s just complicated and would require a rewrite of core parts of how Windows works. They already have a rock-solid procedure for mounting and unmounting drives. To change that, they would have to regression test their entire operating system. It’s not impossible, but there’s plenty of reason not to do

Honestly, I get that Captain Marvel has no reason to be humble, but I wish some of the others would impress upon her the importance of it, for THIS fight.

And here I thought walking out to check the mail was a long way...

Allow me to quote myself and, again, insist that you read the thread:

*cough* read the thread *cough*

I’m not saying it’s grammatically correct. That changes as usage changes. I’m saying it’s contextually and descriptively correct.

Hard disagree. It’s a continuation of a noted tendency to escape euphemism and euphemistic language. You may think it’s a little too far, but we’ve all got to draw our own lines somewhere.

It’s not about the frequency or the magnitude of the typos, it’s about how well they can be clowned on.

Ok.

Ok.

Sounds like we agree on everything except what constitutes reasonable brand stewardship. I don’t think every brand that invests in high-end retail is more interested in their brand than their product. It’s often the case, but it’s not ipso facto.

Dr. Amar Bose himself said he’s more of a subjectivist, relying on “human experience” rather than specs. Doesn’t mean they can’t do good equipment from time to time. Their noise-cancelling tech is one of the best in the industry, if not the best.

BOSE? Bose relies on their name to sell equipment!? The company founded by an audio engineer, who was a professor at MIT for 40 years, who donated most of the company to MIT, and whose company slogan is, literally, “Better Sound Through Research”? THAT Bose?

It’s no more a fucking condemnation than any other behavior at any other time.

Responding to the headline: Good. Everyone that uses the internet should be a cybersecurity expert until we figure out how to do infosec well. The amount of people who don’t seem to realize the harm in “innocuous” or “trivial” information is a damning condemnation of the intelligence of our society.

And yet, boring as I am, you can’t seem to stop replying. Also, I think you may be overvaluing how ‘interesting’ it is to call someone else “boring”. No worries - common mistake. Average sized people call other people ‘short’ to make themselves feel tall. People of average intelligence call people ‘dumb’ to make

If only. Had I found the way to stop dipshits like you from responding to me, I would have applied it daily ever since its discovery. Alas. Here I am. with you.

Hopefully not too much! Standard order has lost all meaning, these days, so any line of logic is just about as useful as soothsaying.
It makes sense that this could work. But sense is in short supply, these days.

My comment history proves I’m a person with a point of view who tries to have a political discussion.
