How about a Volvo C30? It’s a funky cool little hatchback with plenty of get up & scoot. At least here in Dallas, the prices for a low milage example leave a decent chunk of your budget intact. Especially, if you cruise craigslist for one.

I don’t know if it was caused by my sister putting subs in the back or my dad trying some sort of mpg boosting kit on it that did it. It could have also just been gm lol. I swear, even now I’m still a bit paranoid about my car leaving me stranded due to electrical issues

The thing was a piece of crap (it had an electrical or ignition issue where the battery would drain if you didn’t drive it literally every single day. not to mention, it being gm) but oddly enough, it gave me a love for stripped down & honest little economy cars.

I had a hand-me-down ‘06 LS (aka: no options whatsoever) in grey-blue from my dad. The only “cool” thing about it was that it was a coupe & it got rediculously great gas milage. If my sister hadn’t wrecked it, I’d probably still be driving it & I wouldn’t have my sweet no frills manual ‘08 Mazda 3 lol

I recently bought a used one owner ‘08 Mazda3, manual with no options & I love it. Now, I’ve only had it a month but apart from having to throw new tires on it (& save up to get the ac fixed), it seems like a solid car.

Option 2 all the way. If there’s a clause that lets me switch to whatever I’m fixated on & I’m not stuck with one car type, someone toss me a magic wand. I literally see no downsides, apart from some loss of dignity.

The Honda Acty Van because it’s not beautiful in an ugly way, it’s cute-ugly. I’ve been obsessed with them lately. There’s just something so right about their tiny-ness and their proportions.

My dad is one of those people who would love something crushy, floaty, & semi large. Basically a modern throwback to classic American luxury. I think if Cadillac or Buick or any of the American (near) luxury brands left, were to focus on that they’d be well set. There’s probably a lot of people are like my dad (and

I actually have a 65 Falcon Futura coupe sitting in my dad’s driveway right now. It’s got the base 6 cylinder w/ 3 on the tree & there’s just something special about how honest and simple it is. When you look at it, you can tell is lived an interesting life. It cost about $3500, for a (rough) running example, when I
