Because it being unblocked does not prohibit the actual event from taking place. It’s also a public thoroughfare, so you can’t just take that away from the people. I totally get it if one of the hotels owned it and they wanted to limit access, or sell it, but this is a public bridge. This is basically government doing

I hope you also stopped at Sbarro’s for an authentic New York slice.

There are some narrow Starbucks drive throughs that will be pretty treacherous.

It sure looks like it’s struggling in the third of the three clips. Regardless, all I think when I watch this is how ridiculous the Cybertruck looks. If Tesla had designed a pretty conventional looking SUV (not the bulbous car pretending to be an SUV that is the Y or X), they could have had it on the market by now and

It would be really nice and cheap except that the $53 million just covers the cost of the less-than-two-miles portion of the loop that is around the convention center itself.

What if you could link several together and only need one driver?

What advantages does this present over a tram system in the tunnels?

And maybe put those cars on rails.

If they could make the cars large enough to handle a couple dozen people at a time and label them as to which station they are going to, they might really be onto something.

An underground battery fire should be interesting [when it happens, which it will].

I submit that “Kentucky Fried Chicken Wraps” implies that the entire wrap is battered and then deep fried, and I will accept nothing else.

Same with my grandma, we had a choice. Eat it or don’t. It was a baloney sandwich and an apple. The choice was ours, the fucks given were not hers.

One time, I happened to be near a steakhouse my parents used to take me to, and on an impulse, decided to get a prime rib dinner to go. When I got home, I reached in the bag, only to be surprised to feel something cold. It turned out to be a giant stack of 12 prime rib steaks wrapped in butcher paper. At first, I was

“I don’t like bread.”

I agree, everything I have ever had there has been good to very good. Thank goodness there is not one near me.

I’m surprised no one has gotten shot over this yet.

I should have posted this after I convinced the cat to go attack the hell out of my partner’s feet last night, but I did the costings for a basic basil pesto - the same sort of pesto I mentioned that was £3.35...

When did Jalop get such a weird, albeit slight, anti EV stance?

I ain’t got time or energy to stock the stuff and make homemade pesto every time I need it. Yeah, the jar stuff isn’t nearly as good, but it’s good enough to blob onto a sandwich or pizza, and it’s convenient and lasts a long time.
