The Tomb Raider one is perfection. Watching Lara die again and again is pure comedy gold.

Now playing

My favorite is still Final Fantasy XV, with Elijah Wood, where Conan basically choke slams his poor producer against a wall when he reveals that a boss battle will take about 72 real time hours to finish. Then, he finds out that all the game devos have been watching his review on a live stream, so goes out and yells

If not the best overall segment, then the funniest single moment for me was when they played a Lara Croft game, and react with horror when she is impaled through the throat while riding the rapids.

The good Clueless Gamers hit the same sweet spot for me as a great MST3K short. My favorite still has to be Hader/God of War.

I guess I should be surprised that Hamologist and HamiltonIsTrash agree

Oh, it’s because we’re all supposed to have proper home theatre systems, in dedicated home theatres, with fuckin’ Krix speakers and shit.

This. The thing I’ve missed most about theaters is the sound actually being good. No amount of optimization on the laptop is going to do it justice; The streaming services seem to view it as a cost to be cut down, imho.

that’s more the algo-rhythm

You know what, I love a cool, modern Western and don’t think there’s enough of them. Too much ‘let’s do it realistic and serious’. There so much mytholgoy and scope for fun. The Quick and the Dead, Young Guns, The Good the Bad and the Weird. Great films.

But is there a giant steampunk spider robot?

Netflix has accepted your challenge

I always forget how excited Fela’s music makes me

This looks fun! Can’t lose with this cast.

The child-like, extremely 2008 innocence where he was worried he would get caught

Well what did you do to make God take away your hair?

Karen makes Tyrese’s Baby Boy look like Citizen Kane.

The Peele comparison seems off. Peele deals heavily in satire that borders mostly on comedy and often on horror.

Just wait, “Fast 10: Your Seatbelts” will win at least one Oscar.

Riddick 2013 was kind of his Rambo 2008.
