I like the pop culture best friend one because you get good answers like 2/3rds of the time (my favs are Jenny Slate's and Scott Aukerman's) but I agree with the first big purchase one and also submit the karaoke one.
Ha! A Classic.
I still laugh at this cheap MTV movie awards joke:
I have three thoughts on this!
I was kind of surprised how shitty her voiceover was. Like, obviously it wasn't gonna be actively good, but it's even worse than if she had just phoned it in. the vibe I got was that she can do deadpan really well on-screen but just didn't know how to translate it a voiceover performance, so she tried too hard to make…
Oh, Jesus Christ, I know this guy. I did improv with him in college. Now I work as a barista and he's creating his own TV show. But, y'know, it's only because he worked hard to achieve his goals and I'm a lazy piece of shit who—

If I Had a Hammer (I'd Be Friends with You)
Man, I posted the exact same link in a comment below.
No, but we can (or should) expect The AV Club to not post every mildly amusing video that has "Wes Anderson" in the title.
It's not like he found it and posted it here. I think these Great Job, Internet posts wouldn't be half as grating if they weren't always like, "I know these are usually terrible, but check out THIS video!" People compare it to Buzzfeed, but it's actually somehow even more tedious.
For the record, here's the only Wes Anderson parody I actually liked (along with some others)
I mean, budget aside, it has the same problems every Wes Anderson parody has, which is that it just sticks in specific references to films he made (every woman in a Wes Anderson parody is Margot Tenenbaum) instead of coming up with new jokes that fit into his style. It's like when people parody Quentin Tarantino and…
I'd imagine it's also pretty embarrassing, but, then, being alive seems like it should be embarrassing for Rob Schneider.
hey man free speech
I agree with Rob, or I would if State Farm were urging Congress to pass a bill outlawing anti-vaxxers.
My dad used to tell me seeing Bruce in concert was like a religious experience and I would always be like yeah, yeah yeah, but I saw him a couple years ago and even at sixty, it was pretty fucking incredible.
Tangentially related: I know the lyrics site formerly known as Rap Genius (now just Genius) is dumb, but I was still surprised to see their annotation of "American Skin (41 Shots)" went out of its way to not mention that the Springsteen is saying the titular shooting was racially motivated or that American skin =…
Controversial (dumb) opinion:
There's not that many roles Elba wouldn't be good in.
