My local hardware store carries LED appliance bulbs. They are now commonplace. You do have a point though about devices where heat is the primary purpose of the bulb. Particularly reptile tanks

New Easy Bake Ovens haven’t used light bulbs for years. They new use an actual heating element. Older ones, however, would still use a light bulb, if anyone still has one. My daughter’s oven died after about a year of use.

Which is like the diametric opposite of Silent Running in every conceivable way. Damn, even that level theme song was really catchy and uplifting.

What the Ukrainians are doing in defense of their homeland on the one hand - shouldn’t be surprising. On the other. It’s breathtaking and courageous. Ukrainian citizens are home and abroad should be extremely proud of their people. 

Everybody should experience the highly satisfying frisson of using a stump grinder at least once in their life.

I haven’t caught up on Prodigy yet, but the idea that Starfleet would consider Odo one of the finest people is, frankly, really sweet. (Especially since he wasn’t even Starfleet or Federation.) He’d be incredibly bothered by that honor.

I mean, I would rather hear various clips stitched together to make a coherent bit of dialog, than have someone try to voice Leonard Nimoy.  His actual words meant so much more.  Same with the others.
