Heard my hometown mentioned in the trailer and wondered briefly if they were doing some sort of geolocation-based AR thing with the trailer.

My dad’s is the one in red, mine’s the silver one. We’ve had semi-matching trucks for a long time: I got a used 2005 Silverado in 2009, just a few years after he picked up a used 2003. This year, we both ended up getting new 2018s within a few months of each other.

As long as they support CarPlay and Android Auto... I love what this does for consistency between vehicles. Granted, it’s not perfect in that a lot of HVAC and comfort options are tied into the factory UX, but it helps.
