Also pretty easy to drive several hours without seeing a gas station, which tends to induce panic when the gas light on the dash illuminates. 

The app Sleep As Android has been a game changer for me. I use it in conjunction with my WearOS powered watch; between my phone and my watch, it gets me up during a light sleep phase about 75% of the time, which makes it much, much easier to hit the ground running.

Dammit. EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE A SQUIRREL IN A TREE, I think to myself “It can’t walk backwards down the tree” just because I read it once in an EB book.
