Now, after all of this, it is easy for me to get a little nostalgic, even for the 1992 Pontiac Bonneville. You could get it with a powerful supercharged 3.8 liter V6, it was roomy, and the ride and handling was not horrible. Much of what we long for today in new cars—size and comfort without pretentiousness—is here in

I am pleased to say that having survived this experience, our Alanis has graduated from freelance weekend editor to full-time staff writer. Join me in saying congrats! You’ll be seeing a lot more of her work and derring-do come mid-May.

Get ready to maraud your Monday!

Came here to post this...

Somewhere out there on the internet there is a video of Hamilton and Tony Stewart switching cars and driving around Watkins Glenn

Ryan and his brother Adam are two of the quickest thinking drivers in monster trucks. They both posses an uncanny ability to improvise on the fly and do some completely ridiculous things. They’re also two of the most creative guys on the circuit. Ryan may not have planned to do a moonwalk right there, but you can be

Robby did it all, and a lot of it overlapped. Smoke still did his dirt track thing but he didn’t return to open wheel on pavement after the switch to NASCAR. Basically, Robby Gordon is the man in the modern age, and nobody comes close to him. That is not opinion. It is fact that Robby Gordon is totally fricking

So many in our sport think NASCAR is boring and easy to compete in. The drivers seem to know better, as open wheelers tend to express interest more often than not.

Very simple fact. Had Kevin Ward Jr. not exited his race car and walked down the racing surface, he would still be alive. Everything else in this case is irrelevant. If I pull my car over on the shoulder and get out, stepping in front of a semi, is it my fault or the semi driver’s fault?

Dodge missed a golden opportunity to partner with NHRA and encourage owners to take these to the track, not race them on the street.

Doesn’t NASCAR already have this thanks to guys taking 2 tires or fuel only to get track position, and then trying to hold on until the next pit stop? What about limiting the number of tires a team gets? I think forcing teams to decide when to single stint and when to double stint tires would have a lot more impact

NASCAR already has a rain tire, it’s just only available for road courses where they will race in the rain.

Uhh... this exists. There’s at least 4 different chassis designs per team, and each team that builds their chassis builds them different. They’re just secretive about the designs. Same with bodies.

Bad idea.

But NASCAR has had push to pass for a long time!

Just getting this out of the way early NASCAR does have a rain tire for road courses (of which there will be more next year). And Indycar does run multiple tire compounds but only on street circuits and road courses, they have only one tire option for the ovals.

Can we have doggos too?

Good, I always liked Tanner and Rut, Adam I could have done without to be honest, he started to grow on me a bit towards the end of the shows run. its a shame, TG USA was cut down just as it was finding its cadence properly.

Fun thing is, the unlimited guys do run on the streets.
