Edit: As many people have pointed out, if each person uses their guess to say the color of the person in front of them, then their hat selection might be wrong.

Perhaps I’m missing something, but couldn’t they just say the color of the hat they see directly in front of them? First person still has a 50% chance, but everyone after would know exactly what color they are.

I was in San Francisco with my family having a brunch buffet at a nice restaurant. Since we were in San Francisco, I was really in the mood for some clam chowder. So, for my first plate I had some normal breakfast items like pancakes and eggs. After finishing that, I went looking for some clam chowder.

Why can't European clubs force their star players to not play in the World Cup if it is during their regular season? That's where their primary salaries come from. Or is the World Cup just so big that the star players wouldn't give it up?
