Zoe knows. She saw Bruno running away with “Night Light,” but Bruno ONLY hangs out with Kamala, so... But her focus is her own popularity and Insta likes. There are a couple of motivations here for Zoe to not reach out, but the prime one at the moment is not sharing the spotlight. But she also thinks protecting Kamala

- Was her father eating Turkish Delight?”

“- Kamala’s cosplay uniform has inverted colors to Carol’s.”

Carol flips the colors herself in Endgame (the hologram reporting scene towards the beginning) and, possibly, in the end of Shang-Chi. Both versions are “correct.”

The TV show is considerably less homophobic than the comics, so that’s a plus for sticking with the show only.

FWIW - Wendy and Marvin weren’t related. They totally could have ... activated.

Young Justice Season 4, Part 2"

The more I read from this guy and other folks involved, the more I’m convinced that the whole end of WandaVision other than her scenes with the acceptance of Vision’s death and her kids not being real is tacked-on and wildly sexist garbage. All of the “Wanda goes dark” plots in the comics were bad enough - repeating

“Well, it doesn’t sound like the usual Marvel boilerplate movie they’ve been putting out lately... so that’s good.”

But it does sound like exactly the Marvel boilerplate comics story:

Argh! None of it is cultural. Dust not having been introduced yet is ENTIRELY because they have yet to introduce mutants and the X-Men to the MCU. Who knows if they’ll ever do so, as there are 100's of characters to choose from, but at this point, NONE have been.

Marvel seems to be really pushing Kamala, while ignoring her Muslim predecessor, Sooraya aka Dust.”

The amount of work he’s putting in to bolstering this film and to pump up the importance of his version of the character is not “taking it in stride.” Articles such as the ones linked show he’s desperately trying to keep his take relevant and be the director of any Sony Sinister Six movie.

Where they let Marvel use their characters from time to time for money and popularity, but also keep working away at their own films at the same time.”
Because they make a lot more money with less work if they just let Marvel do it.

He talks to his mom’s voice mail. We never hear (one side of) a dialogue. Hallucination or delusion is quite probably the answer here.

And it seems like he’s been around awhile. If anyone was going to say anything about his strange accent (and it doesn’t seem like he knows anyone well enough), they may have already

Keeping Booster off-limits was a function of DC/WB’s “only one version of a character” mentality. It feels like they’ve lightened up on that a lot with their whole jumping on the multiverse bandwagon,* so there’s hope.

* I can’t really remember if they are “jumping on” so much as being super-slow with rolling it out

You know, they don’t have to die to leave the series. Space is pretty big. Any character could simply say, “See ya,” and we’d never ever see or hear from them again.

Ugh, no to Sam. Richard, with any twist you want to pull him out of the yet-another-generic-white-boy camp, yes.

But Sam’s whole thing is weird. Especially after we had that whole series rebuilding the Nova Corps, Worldmind, etc. up after Annihilation. And the Black Novas? With all of the rebuilding just a year or two

I was in my 20's at the time and I thought it was great. The actual Death was the weakest part, TBH. Doomsday was just a big device to kill Supes and was boring. But everything that came after was great. Of course, he was coming back. You’d have to be an absolute idiot to think otherwise. But the fun was HOW they were

That ‘Reign of the Supermen’ Superboy costume has not held up well over time.”

I think even at the time it was supposed to be a bit “much.” It was my absolute favorite of the 4 books, as skeevy as the Tana relationship was.

As a 10-year old, I wrote the publisher of Dune offering to write a sequel to Children of Dune and got a cease and desist letter from the Herbert estate in return.

I feel like these dudes had just about the same understanding of the law that I did. Again, I was 10.

I really wish I has saved that letter.

Yeah - There was something about how he was supposed to be fighting werewolves or specifically Jack Russell. Some corporation trying to capture (or kill?) Russell made the whole suit, etc. His crescent moon darts (don’t call them batarangs!) were silver.
