Though another thing in this article that doesn’t track is the presumption that Skrulls couldn’t fake the need to use the leg assistance braces/devices.

Also. wearing a hospital gown only means that he was in a hospital at the time they took him (and didn’t dress him, I guess). He could have gone to the hospital multiple times with his injuries. Even after Endgame. The fact that he needed help walking and had some leg function when released from the Skrull pod, but

They need to hurry, though.  Those kids won’t be young much longer.

Fair enough, but I just thought of an additional indicator that Zoe knows. She flinched when Damage Control ID’d “Night Light” as South Asian. The bangle (really more a wrist cuff - bangles are different) was not that obvious.

Now playing

This was an amazing episode where the powers/Marvel parts were actually the least compelling. All the other facets of the kids’ personalities and Pakistani-American life were easily the best elements of the show.

The focus on the Partition is huge and the kind of presence that is in South Asian culture is long overdue.

Zoe knows. She saw Bruno running away with “Night Light,” but Bruno ONLY hangs out with Kamala, so... But her focus is her own popularity and Insta likes. There are a couple of motivations here for Zoe to not reach out, but the prime one at the moment is not sharing the spotlight. But she also thinks protecting Kamala

- Was her father eating Turkish Delight?”

“- Kamala’s cosplay uniform has inverted colors to Carol’s.”

Carol flips the colors herself in Endgame (the hologram reporting scene towards the beginning) and, possibly, in the end of Shang-Chi. Both versions are “correct.”

I swear this is not to be contrary, but my husband and I both thought that it was the complete opposite: possibly the BEST Marvel film we’ve seen.

Personally, I think it’s because it seemed to keep the Marvel feel to a minimum. It felt the most like this is what is going on in the rest of the MCU.

Totally a YMMV

Just one random episode of Top Chef would be enough for most folks to know it.

When You Have Debilitating Periods?”

If your periods are debilitating, why wouldn’t you call in sick?  That’s exactly what they’re for.

The good ones are like radio shows.

The bad ones are like having to overhear your jackass neighbors make a call on speakerphone through the thin walls of your apartment. That’s most of them.

It’s no coincidence that most of the well constructed, listenable ones are hosted and produced by former public radio producers.

should” =>sounds”

I thought that was her first foray into reality TV and was what got her onto Real Housewives. She was final 2, wasn’t she?

And this show should like they threw The Apprentice and Real Housewives into a blender and hit Puree.  I’m ashamed to say I’m tempted, just for the trainwreck.

Watched this last night and, God damn, this was awful AND problematic.

1) Cast: So, instantly, the black guy’s life is expendable. It’s just right there and no one addresses that. He is literally and explicitly worth less than anyone else on board. It’s only through Hathaway’s pleading and badgering that Kim and

she would not even know he did it.”

Dude...

It would seem reasonable that Agnes/Agatha wasn’t the only one drawn to the Chaos Magic. The Dottie reveal could be a tag (like Thanos was).

You’re right - I meant to say she could have pivoted her academic course pre-snap. But to do that and finish a PhD seems like a whole lot (for purposes of this story, general character building and, frankly, any excuse to include Kat Demming, I support it). Certainly more than hearing the Infinity War story sometime

I don’t think anyone is arguing that either of those examples are in anyway less or equally problematic than “Grease.” They’re definitely much, much worse (and “classic” is definitely only an opinion).
