Not really. So let’s say your hobby is playing video games. At the end of it, you’ve played video games. Even if it’s an FPS like Battlefield where you were just doing the same-ish thing for hours on end, you’ve still done something.

I mean, that’s how we got Trump as president. I guess it checks out.
One thing that you don’t cover in the article (and something you should have asked a physicist about instead of an engineer) is consistency. Regardless of the pizza size you order, the center will cook less well than the edge (crust). The larger the pizza, the more pronounced this discrepancy becomes. Which is why you…
He’s not moving the goalposts, though. Basically, the original goalpost is that the WSJ editor (Nicas) shopped some images together. And it’s very possible he did. In the first video, under the assumption that the video was owned by GulagBear, his earnings report showed that this must be true as the video couldn’t…
So I don’t know about this “no one is safe” bit, but I mean, a whole slew of characters have died. Especially if you’ve read as far as you say you have.
Let me give you the definition Google spit back at me when I asked it “what is persecution?” Emphasis mine.
So I’m operating under the belief we can have a reasonable discussion. But I’ll admit that based on your inflammatory comments so far, I’m inclined to believe that won’t be the case.
Yeah, because that’s a fair comparison.
I feel like they got juked by DICE. Battlefield has been chipping away at CoD for years now, and Battlefield 1 is the first time that Battlefield has outsold the CoD franchise.
So those people very likely don’t have much fiber in their diets on a regular basis. And to be fair, a majority of Americans don’t. So Taco Bell has a vegetable-based filler that’s high in fiber.
They say they’ve seen a 7% reduction in grenade usage because of this, but honestly, I don’t know how that works out. If you have more grenades to throw, you’re going to throw more grenades.
You stop being dumb. “8-bit” doesn’t really mean anything by itself. Are we talking about a processor? A color palette? Some form of currency?
I dunno. Having played D3 on both PS4 and PC, I can conclusively say that the experience is 1000% better on console.
They do. On a capture point map, let’s say neither team captures point A. Game ends in a draw. Let’s say both teams capture point A, but neither captures point B. Game ends in a draw. Both teams capture points A and B, game moves onto a tie-breaker round where each team is given their remaining time (from the previous…
Exactly. The better team won. That’s all there is to it. I mean, to not get a single percent on the capture point is really telling. I’ve been in plenty of games where we didn’t take a single pie piece. But not even a single percent? I can’t think of a time I’ve been on the receiving end of that.
I don’t see a problem with this at all. I’ve had games where we kept the other team completely out of the point, and then we got the thing to ~99% of full, but we got stopped and didn’t take the point. That game ends in a draw. How is that fair? We were obviously better (if just by a little bit).
especially with the whole ‘bezel can damage the upper screen’ nonsense.
Being half-Iranian and half-American white, I feel like I’m justified in telling you this, but half of Iranians are caucasians. Because the northern part of Iran is in the Caucasus mountains. They have lighter skin and lighter eyes than their southern countrymen. Both my Iranian grandfather and Iranian grandmother had…
Um, so there are two types of Iranians: those from northern Iran in and above the Caucasus mountains, and those to the south, who are more what you imagine Iraqis and Pakistanis to be.
