FF games are actually spiritual successors to each other for that reason. They keep the same gameplay mechanisms and theories for storytelling. They’re just different, unrelated stories.

Well, two things: you didn’t really address any of my points except to say that it’s a team game, and I also played the beta. I know it was only like a week, but that was plenty of time to figure some stuff out.
It is a direct sequel. Cross is Trigger’s successor. But in name only. It references previous characters, and even takes place after the original game, but the spirit of the game is entirely different.
I’m curious, what would you call a game that is a successor, but not a spiritual one? Because that’s what Chrono Cross was.
Well, in Fire Emblem: Awakening, it was because they thought they didn’t have enough game resources for another set of joints (ankles). So they removed the feet. I don’t have Fates yet, but it looked like they added feet back in.
Yeah, this sums it up pretty well. It’s basically like how you can have spiritual successors which don’t share the name (like this I Am Setsuna game), but Chrono Cross shared the name, but not the spirit.
It is damn good. And pretty unique. A beautiful game with stellar audio. And lots of characters, too.
Hey guys! Another Overwatch article on its release day! How fucking crazy is that?!?
So I liked playing as Reinhardt (and even made PotG my first match), but even I thought the bullets didn’t go through my shield.
While I agree with you whole-heartedly when it comes to teamwork, think about this for a second. Let’s assume both teams are equally as individualistic. Because they usually are.
Well, attractiveness obviously plays into carnal desires. Duh.
The Vita is also very good for playing Vita games, of which there are many. :)

When people talk about no games for the Vita, they’re talking about no exclusive games for the Vita.

I’m gonna go with Phobos on this one. I didn’t even really know what the game was before playing the beta at my girlfriend’s request. I’d heard the odd commercial or two here or there while watching Hulu, but not really paying attention. So I’d heard the name, but not really associated it with anything.
Yeah, but that’s still the problem. With the Dreamcast, you just needed to burn the discs. Because the damn thing would play CD-Rs.
They very likely are. X6-88(or whatever his name is) never mentions radiation affecting him, though he does mention it affecting the player. Curie (in her Gen 3 body) also mentions that radiation doesn’t affect her.
Well, whenever you hear someone talking in absolutes, know that they’re wrong. Because all absolutes are wrong. Even this one. Because I’m sure there’s an absolute out there that’s probably right.
No. They still take rad damage. You’re just confusing that with the fact that they can’t actually die.
Now you’re reaching. We’ve seen the most advanced Synths the Institute has to offer. Nothing approaching full-on biological.
Goddamn your accurate quotations!
