service does not equal pampering. Unless you're ordering a pampering service. I pay for something, I expect that something, I don't need anyone kissing my ass or treating me like royalty, they just need to deliver the product or service in a professional, positive manner.

Yeah, I don't think people get that a good deal of NetFlix and Hulu's pricing and selection options are due to agreements they've signed with the entertainment industry. You want the content, they want to give it to you, but the studios DEMAND they play by the studios rules and that means $$$ and restrictions.

very true the whole "people used to" doesn't take into account what life "used to" be like. Yes there were fewer obese people because people "used to" do more manual labor both at home and at work and food "used to" be less processed and "used to" contain fewer made made substances like "high fructose corn syrup".

Skin cancer is cumulative; it comes from years of tanning and burning. That's why you don't see a lot of young people with skin cancer. It doesn't set in until much later in life. And up until the last century people died younger, so they died long before they would've developed skin cancer. Or they died OF skin

It looks a little washed out, otherwise it's not significantly different to me. I can do everything I could with the other one. I wish they would add more color coding options. The palette doesn't contrast very much.

seriously. What's with the deflating life-preserver look? Is that what straight men want?

wouldn't "calendaring" mean "the process of making/publishing a calendar"? What's wrong with the word "scheduling", exactly? I'm all for the expansion of language, but this, like the use of "inbox" as a verb just sounds completely pretentious.

YES, exactly. I'm at a point where I feel like I can't really handle adding anyone and I have to be extra careful who I delete. I would *love* a fresh start. How many hits do the "Dump your facebook account and start a more private one" articles get?

Finally! Something to streamline my stalking!

Gex, at best you're saying that we're not allowed large scale organized disagreement, which is ridiculous. That's what the american revolution was!

It's not censorship to disagree. That's exactly what you're saying. It doesn't matter if that disagreement is a letter, phone call, or a boycott. YOU are saying that disagreement = censorship.

so you don't believe people are responsible for what they say, and you don't believe it's okay to criticize someone.

you've missed the point of the 1st Amendment entirely. The point is that you're allowed to say whatever you want. and the government can't jail you for it. But, I have the same right to disagree with you, criticize you, and YES decide to spend my money elsewhere. There is nothing in the 1st Amendement that says we're

now all we need is for someone to make yogurt that doesn't have to stay cold. The thing about snack foods is at least partially convenience. I've tried bringing just one string cheese with me to work for a snack. I put one of those refreezable ice tubes for water bottles to keep it cold, but it wears out by about

Just like with my computer, there’s only so much that I can or will use. Honestly, if I’m not using it on a daily/weekly basis, I question the need. I’m not a big fan of redundancy in apps. I prefer to have one of each as far as functionality is concerned. I don’t need 6 web browsers, 4 twitter clients, two

Well then the people at Merriam-Webster and Dictionary.com are also asinine. I appear to be in good company.

Um, I see a lot of people talking about the way the image was created and how that disqualifies it from protection.........

"It's a nice idea and all but often passion has little to do with what's done in the career one is in and more to do with hobbies or side projects."

granted, they're not magnetic. The bigger point is that cards and tech don't go well together in the same pocket.

Chicago, for one.
