@perkypenguins: Yeah, I almost failed my typing class in Middle School. What really taught me to type was all the papers I wrote in high school and college. I went from hunt and peck with 2 fingers to 3 fingers, then 4 fingers and eventually you just figure it out. I barely use my pinky fingers, and I'm probably

@drongch: The transition to typing isn't really optional in todays world. Most of my teachers in HS (class of '95) wouldn't accept a handwritten paper (even for creative writing) and ZERO of my college professors would accept something handwritten(even creative writing).

@lobsterphone: depends on if they're off season or not. They don't stay at 5% year round, only during competition.

@Calvin Remsburg: Um, it's a home replacement app....it kinda needs those permissions to do it's job.

@battra92: Lam, not lamb. No animals need be involved.

it really just depends. The facebook app, up until recently was awful, the mobile website was faster, way way faster, and since the app kept sending you to the website anyway - it was a waste of space for me.

dailyburn is awesome. There's an iPhone app, and soon there will be an Android App. The website is pretty easy to navigate and over the last year their inventory of food has expanded. Rarely is there something NOT in their database — and usually it's something I shouldn't be eating anyway.

Weight loss is a gauge, but shouldn't really be the goal.

Was the lack of paragraph after "It's Sneaky in Cutting Off Memory Formation" a clever end, or did someone forget to paste that section before posting?

@rembo666: My Evo had no troubles at all, either.

I might try Smart/SwiftKey. the others annoyed me, and 8pen just looks unnecessarily complicated(and I don't feel like doing figure 8s forever) There's one not featured here that uses some Google text-prediction software that's still in it's infancy, and that stuff is great. I don't personally need a different way

@lewisboy: but they care about your comments on lifehacker? Right? RIGHT?!

@theotherwhitegirl: Well the category twitter fits into is called "Micro-blogging" Yes there are celebrities on there, but that's not all.

@plasticmouse: it's not racist....unless the developers didn't account for that. It's a sort of passive racism. Not testing for, and accounting for, certain features —- or, worse yet, customizing specifically for one racial/ethnic group. Not the most deadly, but it IS the most pervasive.

@puffa469: "We riff on the stereotypes of our race because it's

The "personal" part is especially true.

@blash: "We've collectively started to forget how to have

@kcoppock: price is irrelevant. the 24-hour policy applies to all apps, regardless of cost. Perhaps you like throwing away money on apps you end up deleting later because you find you don't like them, but I don't.
