Oh man, look at it! The first Citroën to enter my family was a 1979 CX 2400 Familale in metallic brown. The Familiale were the estate versions, with 3 rows of seats. I will never forget the day my dad brought it home and sounded the two-tone horn in the driveway, kids from the whole neighbourhood poured in to check

Had to have a go, it needed a bigger door.

A proper Land Rover always takes in water, pre-production model or otherwise.

Nothing short of heartbreaking. Of course the most important is that no lives were lost, but losing something like that Pagoda that had been in the family for half a century just isn’t fair. But why does the Galant’s hood appear to be dented?

The Ursus is undoubtedly a great car, but isn’t it a little sad though? There is absolutely nothing Lamborghinesque about it, it could just as well be something as godawful as the next Touareg. Where has all the crazy gone?

OK, that’s it, next summer I’m going! Seven hours’ drive from where I live, should be worth it.

Where are you, Jason? There’s a ton of interesting cars in the background!

Beautiful movie, I am in awe at the owner’s seemingly unlimited skills! I especially liked that he includes his mistakes, those are a part of every big project. The only downside is the poor choice of the usual, generic guitar rock to accompany the video.

Fantastic collection of videos, thanks! However, I’m pretty sure the Nissan video shows a Laurel, not a Patrol (could possibly be a Prairie).

Just ran into an Esprit up here in northern Sweden, just a few kms south of the Arctic circle. All it needs is a roof rack for the skis and it’s done!

What exactly is Citroën’s role in all this?

Agreed. I managed to get through the first 3 episodes, after that I just gave up. The boys had their moment(s), but their time has passed. New Top Gear is infinitely more fun than the stale and poorly scripted GT, sadly.

Whaaaat are the odds! This is THE SAME CAR that I saw in Paris back in december 2013.

Spike Jonze explained this all years ago.

Fantastic! Just last weekend I took a ride with a friend of mine to check out a 1970 Fulvia way up in northern Sweden. The Fulvia turned out to be in pretty decent shape, mechanically sound and not very rusty at all. Will need some TLC but has great potential. Amazingly quiet on the road. The original clock and radio

Fantastic video, although it makes me miss my 5 GT turbo even more :-(

That’s my guess too, I’m pretty sure you can actually see when the Merc loses its tire at the beginning of the video, looks like an S-class to me.

Nice paint job, but nothing can make an Audi A7/RS7 look good. All it does is remind me of a 70s VW Passat. url

Fantastic clip, thanks for posting! So much better than Clarksons’s bit on the Vulcan. The Grand Tour is almost as big a let down as the new TG but this clip gives me hope that perhaps we’ll see a proper new TG rise in the near future.

Thanks for your post Jason! It’s always interesting and fun to get an outside view on our everyday car culture. I also seem to share a lot of your opinions on car design, the Citroën Pluriel and the Yaris Verso are secret “dream cars” of mine, two different takes on taking versatility to the extremes.
