Tbh, I mostly like H&M for their super-cheap basics. I’ve got lots of cotton basics from them that have lasted ages, as well as a few dressier pieces. But, yeah, I agree that a lot of it comes down to picking things that are decent fabrics and construction and then taking care of them.

Does anyone think H&M has gone downhill in the past couple of years? they used to be my favorite store, but now they’re just one step above wet seal, but twice the price. Say what you will about Forever 21 but at least they remain dirt cheap.
