Jon: the woman I love filled me with arrows. Also, a bird-man scratched my face up, and it hurt.

She figures it out. She pauses for a second between saying "His father is dead," and "Ramsay killed him," like she's thinking.

Yeah, that was my thought. Jon Snow should be dead, he's just the sort of case the Faceless Men would handle, and having Arya do it is just the sort of awfulness GRRM would concoct. Somebody on here suggested the idea awhile back, and ever since I read it, I knew I'd be disappointed if that didn't happen.

Yeah, it's going to be really poignant when a girl formerly known as Arya assassinates Jon. Again.

And why isn't anyone asking, "Where's Bronn?"

And maybe post more than one guard at the door.

Possible. It's about time Tyrion got taken down a peg. He thinks far too highly of himself. Also, that shot of Missandei throwing shade at Tyrion after the meeting was gold.

Yeah, but everyone knows that.

Or he has another motive? Perhaps he just called that meeting to confirm that the other cities were supporting the Sons of the Harpy, and now he can have those guys assassinated? I hope there's more to it than some flimsy plan for gradual emancipation. Because even after he proposed replacing slavery with another

See, I thought the Tyrells went for Cersei's plan a little too easily. It sounds like a great way to rescue Margaery, but it ignores that Loras will still be locked up. If they kill a bunch of Sparrows and whisk Margaery away, Loras is still in danger - and for House Tyrell, he's probably more important to their

I think Rickon exists so the others can follow their destinies and still leave a Stark alive to rule Winterfell. Arya and Bran have clearly found other callings, Jon might end up taking the Iron Throne, and Sansa … who knows? Rickon not having an arc might be the point of the character.

I'm hoping he just falls down some stairs or something. Maybe he could hit his head on a door frame, like poor Charles VIII. Has Game of Thrones had an accidental death yet?

I found Sin City unbearable. The movie in particular. Wooden performances, a gimmicky visual style, a ridiculous story. And the misogyny. Oh, the misogyny. But the graphic novels are also fairly overrated.

Just think of the show as a really elaborate fan fiction. Makes everything easier.

The file only said M.E. Carter. We're supposed to think that refers to our Margaret, but her brother's name was Michael.

Can we get an honorable mention for Dany's dress? When she showed up at the fighting pits in that thing last season, I had to wonder how she kept it so white. Seems like it would have gotten dirtied just walking down from the pyramid. Probably took a whole team of ex-slaves to do her laundry. Guess that was harder to

Have you read the novel The Man in the High Castle? There are long discussions about exactly that. Like, what's more valuable, a beautiful piece of jewelry made by an unknown artist ,or the otherwise boring watch FDR was carrying when he was assassinated (leading, of course, to Axis victory in WWII)? I don't know if

I think she gives up Needle. She tells them where she's hidden it, and that's the sign that she's passed the final test. Maybe they let her keep it anyway - a girl needs her killing tools, after all. But yeah, I'm not convinced she's given up her identity. It needs to hurt when she carries out her first assignment:

I assume Tormund helped strip off Jon's clothes prior to Mel's necromancy.

It'd be fun if winter never came. Like, it's just a real chilly fall, and then it's spring by the last book. Ned was wrong about most everything else, why couldn't he screw up weather forecasting?
