The game itself is also quite difficult to explain. I've been watching it all my life, and I'm still learning rules.

Baseball.

I like to watch Dr. Pimple Popper videos on YouTube. I'm not ashamed. Does that count as "pop" culture?

Could someone remind me of the rules for this? 300 has a U.S. release date of 2007, but was shown in 2006 at some festivals. Taken has a U.S. release date of 2009, but 2008 in most other countries.

I was born in 1980. Star Wars was always just … there. I don't recall it ever not being present. I didn't own a bunch of merchandise, but I was watching it, reading it, talking about it. Was everyone not doing that? Huh.

Was it the finest pipe-weed in the Southfarthing?

South Park, I guess.

I got what they did, and why. I just didn't like the movie or think it was particularly clever. But, hey, boobs.

I've got a US history textbook that has little "history in film" segments. The authors love M&C, and they loudly decry the tragedy that Pirates of the Caribbean became the nautical film of 2003 that launched a franchise. I've never seen a textbook that got me like that one.

That's the fun part: nobody has to give a shit what conservatives think. Trump couldn't stop women from marching in DC, and he can't stop a music festival. I don't get to keep Toby Keith from putting on concerts, and they don't get to stop us. This sort of thing would drive them crazy? Fine with me.

Have you tried US Netflix with a VPN? Not that I would ever do such a thing, just curious.

Plus State and Main has Philip Seymour Hoffman.

I love to hate-watch The Edge. That movie is several kinds of ridiculous.

Wasn't Wolverine the original Poochie of the X-Men?

Oh, and the Treehouse of Horror had the Clinton-Dole bit. Another classic.

Sean, 18-year-old you didn't think "You Only Move Twice" was a classic? For shame.

"You Only Move Twice" is my all-time favorite episode.

Amahl Farouk vs. Scarlet Witch? I'd watch that.

The Boys probably could have been shorter - the Tek Knight and G-Men storylines in particular were fun, but unnecessary. But the finale is magnificent.
