But what you said is only valid in your market (maybe, there are also a ton of Toyota dealers in Southern California). You can’t use it to generalize the market as a whole.

I agree and never disputed that. I am disputing the most midsize’s worthwhile are in the mid-40K region, which is just false. Most are in the mid 30s. Yes full sizes are typically a better deal at that price point, but most are typically a better deal at the mid-40K price point as well.
SoCal is probably the 2WD Taco’s biggest market. You should probably look elsewhere. I have no trouble at all finding 4x4 SR5s in my market (southwest). It is about a 50:50 split between 2WD and 4WD SR5s on the lot. If you look in more northern climates good luck finding a 2WD SR5 at all- the 4WD SR5 is not some rare…
Yes, but that means you can get better deals on full sizes and depending on your wants and needs a full size truck may be a better value.
Yeah, and you can get a Tacoma SR5, 4x4 crew cab with the V6 and navigation for $35k. Skip the nav and you save almost a thousand bucks. If 4x2 is fine you can save $2-3K (I wouldn’t recommend skipping the V6 for the I4). The interior will be basically identical to the TRD Off Road which is essentially a SR5 with off…
A high 40's midsize truck is the norm.
Pricing for midsize pickups is high, but not that bad. You can easily get a comfortable 4x4 crew cab Colorado/Taco/Ranger in the mid to upper $30s. The midsizes priced above that are usually about equal when it comes to interior bells and whistles but with more off road gear.
But Chris Pine is.
One thing you will quickly learn is despite constant complaints about how men are ignorant of female genitalia, women are often equally clueless about men genitalia, how it all works and what is normal, and are often ignorant of the fact that they are ignorant about it.
“why is the top 1/2 of his body a completely different color than his legs”
Because it is very hard to falsify the data that is coming direct from the vehicle’s computer in a way that doesn’t make it immediately obvious as fake. Most people/techs are not familiar enough with their vehicle’s software and computing system to do something that complex (changing a vehicle setting, sure many can…
Hate to break it to you, but not everyone is some pure straightshooting angel. Some of those less than honest people drive ZR2s. Some of those less than honest people work for Chevy dealers (GASP!). And GM is making it right by offering to reimburse. So I’m not exactly sure what your problem with what GM is doing is? Getting the the data from the vehicle is not some long difficult process, it can easily be done at the same visit the new software is installed. If the airbags legitimately went off when they…
Even Toyota got rid of the switch for the third gen Taco.
No, because what if you had a preexisting dent on the side of your vehicle unrelated to the airbag deployment event (or dent from a post airbag deployment event)? Then you are screwed out of your reimbursement.
I mean yes, that is almost always the reason why any company offers voluntary repairs and updates. If it was actually a serious issue to the drivablity of the vehicle it would be recalled...
The fix is available for any ZR2 owner who wants it. It is just a software recalibration, GM doesn’t care if you have experienced the issue previously or not.
Expansion by both Alaska and Delta (building their hub) has made Sea-Tac one crowded airport.
Probably don’t get enough sales to be worth the certification costs.
To be fair Louise Fletcher struggled in the industry before getting the part too.
