idunno. Parents like this are pretty generally inept at life, but honestly, is belting your kid a better solution?

@Danza: Trine was by no means an "Indie" game, it was worked on by a development team of 10 ish people working full time for years.
Gamasutra did a essay exactly like this guy. This guy regurgitated the same essay with words like "semiotic", instead of an incredibly apt and easy to understand roller coaster analogy.

I don't understand how this guy can comment on how they butchered the movie narrative from a single screen shot, and deride the entire games atmosphere, from a single screenshot. Jee whiz, from that logic, I can conclude just about anything is a terrible, including the original movies.
