Hmm. When I was 10 years old, my favorite game was "starcraft". When the sequel came out when I was 11 I was at the midnight launch at the store to buy it.

btw:

@Friedhamster: I honestly don't think you and your friends are stupid. I think they just don't care enough to spend 20 minutes reading up on info then deride the PC platform for being inaccessible.

@Friedhamster: I gave you a site that shows components you need to build a PC in the 500-650$ price range, lower if you recycle basic components like case and PSU.

Eh. I guess we'll agree to disagree.

@Friedhamster: Have you forgotten what we were originally debating? lol?

@Matthew Weflen: Do you really want to get into a debate that somehow a analog is better then keyboard and mouse?

@Matthew Weflen: Are you kidding me bro? I repeated twice, in my original thesis and in a clarification post that you needed 650$ or so to build the equivalent PC from scratch. But the point is, you don't have to build a PC from scratch. You don't need blu ray, you don't need lolwut mobo, you already have a hard

@Friedhamster: Wait...so being an educated consumer is problematic?

Its funny how all if you are going completely batshit insane when someone says "console gaming is going to die". Coming from a PC gamer. It really is ironic.

@Friedhamster: Thats because they all work. Its up to you what you want to do. Buying a 300$-400$ PC from someone like HP, then sticking a 100$-200$ GPU will allow it to run all the games on the market at a decent resolution. Without personal selection and optimization, it won't outclass the PC for sheer

@Friedhamster: I don't mean this to be demeaning in anyway, but from salvaging existing components from your existing PC (you must have one), combined with informed buying of PCU and GPU's, you can get a PC that will surpass your PS3 capabilities for as low a 400 dollars.

@AEREC: Perhaps you missed the part where I wasn't making a economic analysis on the profitability of GFW, rather, it was verbatim on how GFW is completely useless? I felt capslock was a dead give-away.

@#c17617860:Yeah, I shoulda have known the answer to that one was brand name recognition, marketing and ignorance. How idiotic of me.

HEY MICROSOFT.

@Helba: Good luck finding investors willing to sit through 3 years of losses and what they perceive as bad management for some small possibility of...breaking even.
