Oh, ok, I have a much easier time buying the idea of serial or "mating-season-long" monogamy than lifelong monogamy. I guess it depends on the definition of monogamous. It seems like historically human cultures have generally been polygynous but monandrous (in the sense of a single guy, not a single stamen).

There is a lot of really amazing stuff in fairy tales too, including teachings of tolerance and universal compassion and connectivity with our fellow human beings.

Uh, no. Anyone who takes their own religion seriously and believes it to be true is not going to respect other, contradictory, beliefs, and is going to consider other incompatible religions to be fairy tales. One can respect other beliefs in the sense of respecting other people's right to believe that way, but that's

What cues do you look for? And what cues do you put out for others to notice?

Well sure bonobos are a different species, just like penguins or prairie voles. Bonobos are a whole lot closer to humans than birds are though. And just looking at the great apes, there's a strong negative correlation between testes size and monogamy due to the evolutionary advantages of sperm competition. Thus it's

Actually some men really prefer irregular sex.

I was confused for a minute there trying to figure out which sex was the godly sex and why an entire sex would be talking about your husband.

I really don't care what we do as long as I'm spending time reading your comments.

Sigh… why do good guys have to be women? Can't they just be good, you know, people?

Awww. He loves to cuddle but doesn't do foreplay? Sigh. Have you tried just pushing him up against the wall?

This makes me think of taking great Segways into sex, and now I feel funny.

But you're single? Heyyyyyy there…

Advice for women everywhere: start dating zellybeanie's boyfriend.

I've tried to click with your essence but I still find the left mouse button works better and that sex is most wonderful with at least an 802.11n connection.
