I did not know that about those surveys, and now I feel terrible.
It’s the quintessential modern American story: I needed to work for a for-profit health insurance company because group insurance through my job was the only way I could get coverage for my pre-existing condition.
Outside of pay-for-performance for politicians, which really doesn’t make sense, there’s one party fighting for reform and one party fighting against it. And outside of a complete constitutional overhaul we’re stuck with a two-party system.
Well one problem might be that one of the two major parties’ health care policy is “just die already, poor people.” So go vote for the party that claims government doesn’t work—and proves it every time they’re in power!
It might just be a case of being the easiest thing to do, but it also helps avoid copyright strikes.
Last time I tried Bumble it appeared to sort matches by attractiveness (i.e. swipe ratio I assume), which makes it great for the really attractive and less so for the rest of us. But then again, life works similarly...
