The In the Dark episode detailing oral arguments was something. The whole season was great, but that in particular just cemented how poorly treated he has been the whole time.

You know, I would go so far to say Gorsuch has done the same.

I don’t feel bad for him, it is just reductive to think of him as some super evil one-dimensional villain. That's not a realistic world view.

this is the only way i see clarence thomas.

The fact that they keep pursuing it is interesting. I wonder if they’ve offered him a (reasonable) plea deal or just keep hounding him to try to make an example of?

I think it would be a lot more clear cut if the defendant wasn’t convicted four the jury four of the six times. So, even with the racism and prosecutorial fuckery involved, there is a good chance this man could be convicted by a completely neutral jury.

I heard an interview of the attorney representing this man and it became extremely apparent that it has become the prosecutor’s life mission to convict him at any and all costs.

Kavanaugh has actually ruled on quite a few cases that probably pissed off the Federalist society. He seems like he is going to be less aggressively political than many people believed he was going to be.

The record in this case really beggars belief:

Not to be corny, but we had a time.”

I have seen through Bernie from the beginning as did many of us here, and it brings me such joy to see others starting to realize the con of this man and the desperate stupidity of his supporters.

I’ve never liked Sanders but ever since he entered this race after Elizabeth Warren I have a visceral hatred of him.

I’ve gone back & forth on this. Part of me wanted it to continue, but man, it’s just a perfect gem as it is... I dunno.

I watched the pilot episode (again) recently, and it is so ridiculously good, it feels like a 2-hour feature film packed into 1 hour. The series as a whole is a singular event in network TV drama.

Reminiscent of how he dismissed Planned Parenthood and the Human Right Fund’s endorsements of Hillary as being because they were part of the establishment so of course they went for her, the establishment candidate.

So she's doing well because vagina, not because of her policies & political acumen? Nice.

So....Meghan McCain appears to be on the correct side of an argument, and is captured on film giving some pretty good side-eye.

Can we stop this? Yeah, Biden said something shitty and has done some shitty stuff in the past, but can we stop denigrating him? He’s a viable candidate and he’s polling how he will smash Trump in 2020. It’s not the time to make it so people will vote from other 3rd party candidate who has zero chance of winning, but

Now if only the same logic could be applied to Scientology and David Miscavige.

I’m wary of podcasts because I don’t want to know the person I’m engaging in intercourse with was listening to murder podcasts the whole time. Like, that’s Ted Bundy but lazy stuff.
