There are a lot of churches around where we’re moving but I also found a Unitarian Universalist church and saw that they get involved with different social justice groups and causes, they marched with BLM and host a lot of events for LGBT groups etc. So that was heartening at least.

It really sucks because me and my S/O are moving so we can buy a tiny piece of land and build our own home and it’s just impossible for us to do in CA because it’s so expensive here, but I have super cheap health care in CA. Kind of screwed either way basically.
