For all the talk about the players needing to get better, wheres the talk about the coaches and admins getting better. The recent (soccer) election didn’t do anything, but create status quo.

FIS is notoriously awful, especially to snowboarders or anyone not racing a speed event. They took over these events once the X-games made them popular and there was more money in it for them. FIS/IOC/FIFA and others have no interest in the athletes, just lining their pockets.

If they can change the bylaw, and American clubs can get some money for players = less or no Pay for play = larger pool of kids, which could result in better quality.
