It really could’ve been. It’s hard to tell because most of them were in areas I wasn’t terribly familiar with. So they could be great or terrible for that area. It was pretty interesting because they were able to track polls in some cases and watch a drop off when Trump endorsed or disparaged someone.

An endorsement from Trump would probably hurt him. Many candidates were hurt by Trump’s endorsements. The NY Times was tracking politicians popularity before and after Trump’s endorsements. It hurt people to be endorsed or criticisized. The best case scenario was to be ignored by Trump. 

It concerns me that he’s being dismissed the way Trump was. I don’t personally think that he can weather Trump’s attacks. The GQP has had to walk a fine line between attacking Trump which alienates his base and supporting Trump which alienates the more moderate Republicans (by GOP standards not by rational standards).

Because the GQP hasn’t really gotten around to attacking contraceptives yet. They're still fighting IVF, Plan B and IUDs right now. They’ll get to the pill and condoms later. 

I’m involved in activism locally. I think most of the cannon fodder types aren’t actually involved with activists. They do a lot of loud slacktivism. There’s no one to call them in because they’re not actually part of the community and they’re often talking over the people they claim to he supporting.
